The Biology of the Nightlife (London) presents a grid of twenty-five cocktails photographed using infrared technology. Deprived of their natural colours, the drinks transform into luminous circular forms that sit between abstraction and scientific imaging. Garnishes, ice, and liquid are rendered as vivid chromatic traces, revealing hidden structures beneath a familiar social ritual. The work reframes London’s nightlife as something to be observed, classified, and momentarily preserved.
