First Lady is my homage to the iconic U.K. First Class Stamp which features HRH, The Queen.
This re-interpretation uses my X- Ray of the Queen’s profile combined with the well known 1st font used on the first class stamp.
The X-ray is the perfect example for me of how we all look the same underneath and the first class stamp with an X-rayed Queen profile reiterates this idea.
Further more the font 1st of the stamp allows to reflect on the concept of Equality which is often present in my work.
This edition is printed on Epson Semigloss paper and is a unique edition in this colour (1/1)
